Since rejoining Instagram, Rihanna has been fairly active, posting more than ten
photos already, although one of the pictures is just a screengrab of a
CNN story about Rihanna returning to Instagram. The singer also shared a
painting of the singer holding multiple dog leashes, only the dogs have
the logos of Vevo and Instagram as heads.
Back in April, Rihanna posted a handful of topless photos from
her provocative cover shoot for French magazine Lui. The explicit photos
were in direct conflict with Instagram's strict terms of use regarding
nude pictures, so the singer's account was (accidentally) suspended.
“We briefly disabled the account by mistake and restored it quickly," an
Instagram rep said at the time. But the damage was already done:
Rihanna declared she was abandoning the photo service, even though
Rolling Stone declared her profile one of the 50 Best Rock-Star
Instagram Accounts. " If Instagram were a game, Rihanna would be
winning," we wrote in October 2013.
Meanwhile, Instagram is just happy to have one of their most popular
users back. "Welcome back @rihanna! #RIHunited #badgalback," the photo
service tweeted, sharing a drawing of a stick figure holding hands with
the Instagram logo.
